Abstract

|
This report a case of describes a cases of hemolytic uremic syndrome in a 57years
old Korean adult and summarizes pertinent literatures.
The important clinical features were fever, hemolyic anemia with microangiopathic
blood pictures, thrombocytopenia and acute renal failure.
He recovered from acute renal failure and hemolytic anemia with serial peritoneal
dialyses and corticosteriod.
One of the aims of this paper is to stress differential diagnosis from Korean epidemic
hemorrhagic fever and disseminated intravascular coagulation.
